"Common Ground", one of few artistic depictions of the Divine Nine. Although
each organization is represented individually, the center of the piece shows the
colors of each organization coming together towards the hands and coming out of
the hands as a single pure black color; signifying that although each org. is unique
in its' own right, they were all created on common ground and they maintain that
common ground today; to uplift, support and encourage the African American
community through education, community service, social awareness, etc. The
world in the upper left corner signifies that the organizations are world-wide.
Africa in the upper right corner represents the heritage of each organization.
Notice that the title is also in red, black and green representing the universal
colors of African decent.
It's one of a kind!!
