"Trio of Legends" is a depiction of three of the greatest African
American Boxers of our time. Jack Johnson (upper left), the first
African American to win the world heavyweight crown.  This was
quite an accomplishment during the heavy enforcement of the Jim
Crow laws.  He was known as the "Galveston Giant". Joe Louis
(lower right), known as the "Brown Bomber", held the world
heavyweight champion title from 1937-1949.  And we all know
Muhammad "Float like a butterfly, Sting like a bee" Ali - an American
professional boxer, activist and philanthropist. He is widely
regarded as one of the most significant and celebrated sports
figures of the 20th century.

The original was a commissioned piece and is sold.
